• Do you gamble until your last penny is gone, even the fare home or the cost of a cup of tea?
• Are you getting into debt from gambling or lying to borrow money to gamble? Using illegal means to finance gambling?
• Have you ever lied to cover up the amount of money or time you have spent gambling?
• Have others ever criticised your gambling?
• After losing, do you feel you must try and win back your losses as soon as possible? Are you gambling more often and playing higher stakes to "win back" lost money?
• Do arguments, frustrations or disappointments make you want to gamble?
• Do you feel depressed or even suicidal because of your gambling?
• Are you gambling during work or when you are expected at home? Neglecting family and other responsibilities? Have you lost interest in your family, friends or hobbies?
